Job Description
This full-time Registered Nurse position focuses on direct patient care and supervision within an IMCU (Intensive Care Unit) setting. The RN will be responsible for interpreting clinical guidelines, communicating effectively, and managing a team of nurses. Experience in acute care is preferred. The role requires a blend of patient care, team leadership, and policy knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Nursing
- One year of Nursing/Patient Care in an acute care setting
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions (or, Compact State License required)
- BLS certification
- ACLS (ED, ICU, CVICU, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiopulmonary Rehab, Bronch Suite, Interventional Radiology, Radiology Safety Nurses, Step down Units)
- PALS (PACU: Pediatric Nurses, ED)
- De-escalation training
- Minimum 1 year completion of specialty requirements for ACLS/PALS or NRP certification
