Admissions RN

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Admissions RN to bridge the gap between the hospital or community and hospice care. The role involves providing initial assessment, education, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to guide patients and families through their transition to hospice. Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (hospice, palliative, ER, ICU, home health or case management preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Active listener who builds trust and rapport
• Reliable professional with strong follow-through and autonomy
