Admissions RN

VITAS is seeking a compassionate Admissions RN to guide patients and families through the transition to hospice, providing clinical assessments, education, and emotional support. The role involves collaboration with medical and case management teams to ensure patients receive appropriate care and maintain their dignity and comfort. VITAS is a pioneer in end-of-life care dedicated to redefining what’s possible.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (hospice, palliative, ER, ICU, home health or case management preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Active listener who builds trust and rapport
• Reliable professional with strong follow-through and autonomy
