Home Health Aide (HHA)

VITAS Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care to hospice patients, augmenting care given by family members or caregivers. HHA tasks include hygiene assistance, meal preparation, ambulation support, treatment assistance, and patient care observation and documentation. The position requires adherence to a written assignment and high attention to detail.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• 75 hours of training documentation.
• Competency Evaluation successful completion.
• State Allowable Training/Certification (AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IN, MI, PA, TX, VA, WI, CA, CHHA, CT, Homemaker-Home Health Aide, IL, HHA, NA, KS, MO, Home Health Aide, NJ, OH, Home Health Aide)
• Must be able to travel to required locations.
