Job Description
VITAS Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care to hospice patients, augmenting care with family members. The HHA assists with activities like hygiene, meals, ambulation, treatments, and patient monitoring. They are not assigned to specific facilities, but reports to a Nurse.
Requirements
- Perform personal care activities in written assignments.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ambulation.
- Assist with therapeutic treatments as ordered.
- Prepare and record temperature, pulse, and respiration.
