Home Health Aide (HHA)

VITAS is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care to hospice patients, augmenting care provided by family members. The HHA will perform a wide range of activities, from bathing and feeding to assisting with treatments and monitoring vital signs. This position requires consistent training and adherence to established protocols.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• 75 hours of documented training
• Documentation of competency evaluation participation
• Ability to travel and perform tasks requiring physical strength
• Must be able to read and follow directions
• Vision acuity including close, distance, and adjustment to focus
