Home Health Aide (HHA)

VITAS Home Health is seeking a motivated and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care and services to hospice patients. The role involves performing home health tasks such as assisting with personal hygiene, preparing meals, ambulation, and certain treatments. HHA assignments may include tasks outside the written plan of care.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Documented evidence of 75 hours of training
• State Allowable Training/Certification
• Ability to read, write and carry out directions.
• Ability to travel
• Ability to lift and transfer patients.
• Regularly required to sit, stoop, kneel, and crouch
