Job Description
VITAS Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care and services to hospice patients, augmenting care given by family members or other caregivers. This position is assigned duties based on a written plan, and may include tasks like hygiene assistance, meal preparation, ambulation, and providing emotional support. VITAS Healthcare is a leading provider of end-of-life care, dedicated to people-focused growth and team collaboration.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Must meet personnel qualifications as specified in 42 C.F.R. Section 484.36
- Have documented evidence of 75 hours of training as specified in 42 C.F.R. Sections 484.36 (a)(1)
- Must have experience with Home Health Aide certificate
- Must travel per job requirements
