Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will administer nursing care to terminally ill patients in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, managing medications, documenting patient information, and maintaining a clean environment. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary team members and participating in professional development activities.

Requirements

• Maintain transportation and liability insurance.
• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where VITAS is located.
