The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will administer nursing care according to the plan of care to terminally ill patients in the VITAS program. Responsibilities include direct skilled bedside nursing, patient care, interdisciplinary planning, documentation, and maintaining a safe environment. The position supports the holistic well-being of patients and families throughout their illness journey.
Requirements
- Maintain transportation for work with required liability insurance and license.
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
- Must have and maintain liability insurance and license.
- At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience (at least one year is an LPN/LVN in a hospital on an adult medical surgical unit).
- At least one year of experience as an LPN/LVN in a hospital on an adult medical surgical unit.
