Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

This position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide nursing care to terminally ill patients in the VITAS program. The role involves direct patient care, assessment, evaluation, and documentation, along with collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Emphasis is placed on providing patient comfort, dignity, and support to ensure their independence and well-being.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
• 1+ year of satisfactory nursing experience, at least one year in an adult medical surgical unit (LPN/LVN).
• Must have and maintain transportation and liability insurance.
