Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) at VITAS will provide direct skilled bedside nursing care to terminally ill patients, according to the plan of care. This includes assessing patient needs, performing assessments, documenting progress, and maintaining a safe environment. The role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient well-being.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing
- Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located
- At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience, at least one year as an LPN/LVN in a hospital setting
