The LPN/LVN provides direct skilled bedside nursing care to terminally ill patients in the VITAS program. Responsibilities include administering treatments, monitoring patient responses, documenting care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. The role focuses on providing comfort, support, and encouragement to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Must have and maintain transportation to be used for work.
- Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
- At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience, at least one year of which is an LPN/LVN in a hospital on an adult medical surgical unit.
