Social Worker

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a Social Worker to provide emotional and logistical support to patients and their loved ones during end-of-life care. The role involves ensuring patients reach their wishes and connecting them with resources. This is a full-time position requiring travel between private residences and a hospital setting.

Requirements

• Ability to travel
• Thorough knowledge of community resources
• Knowledge of psychosocial issues in terminally ill patients
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Valid social work license (LMSW or LGSW depending on state)
