Job Description
VMD Corp is seeking a Transportation Security Officer to join their team at the Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves passenger and baggage screening, ensuring passenger safety and preventing unsafe objects from entering aircraft. The position offers comprehensive training and travel opportunities. It is an entry-level position with potential for career growth within a team-focused environment.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. National identity
- Minimum age 18 years
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
- Ability to pass computer-based assessments (Grammar, X-ray interpretation)
- Pass medical evaluation (vision, hearing, and joint mobility)
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Pass TSA background and financial records check
- Ability to work any day, Monday-Sunday
- 2-week training session in approved location
