Teacher Aide

Volunteers of America-Greater New York is seeking a Preschool Special Education Teacher Aide to assist classroom teacher in working with students in the areas of activities of daily living, transitioning, and organizing classroom materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Escort students to and from school buses
• Assist students during activities of daily living
• Assist teachers with classroom organization and clerical activities
• Clean classroom to maintain health and safety of students
