Requirements
- Safely transport students to and from school
- Ensure students' safety while boarding, during transit, and exiting the bus
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety
- Help fuel and maintain the cleanliness of the bus
- Hold a valid minimum full G class drivers license, Preference will be given to B class drivers
- Be 21 years of age or over
- Have a safe driving record
- Be able to obtain a clean criminal record search
- Have a sound knowledge of the Kingston region and surrounding areas
- Be able to work independently
- Be able to work split shifts
- Have solid communication skills
- Meet the required MTO medical standards required to obtain or maintain a B licence
Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay $23/hour
- Paid minimum 4 hours per day
- Paid for all pre & post trip inspections, as well as all safety meetings
- Free licence upgrades to a B licence
- All in-class and on-road training required in order to Pass a Ministry of Transportation Driver Examination or obtain a certificate of competence from a recognized authority
- Professional Driver Improvement Course approved by the Ministry of Transportation
- First Aid, CPR & Epipen paid training
