We are hiring School Bus Drivers for our new Student Transportation expansion into Kingston & the Tri-Board Student Transportation Services region this fall. Requirements

• safety focused
• valid minimum full G class drivers license
• 21 years of age or over
• safe driver with a clean driving record
• able to obtain a clean criminal record search
• sound knowledge of the Kingston region and surrounding areas
• ability to work independently
• ability to work split shifts that reflect transportation requirements for school age children
• solid communication skills
• customer service and communication skills in order to interact with passengers, parents, school employees, co-workers and the general public in a courteous and professional manner

Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay $23/hour
• Paid a minimum 4 hours per day
• Paid for all pre & post trip inspections, as well as all safety meetings
• Free licence upgrades to a B licence
• All in-class and on road training required in order to Pass a Ministry of Transportation Driver Examination or obtain a certificate of competence from a recognized authority by passing a vision screening, knowledge test and a driving test in a bus of appropriate size
• Professional Driver Improvement Course approved by the Ministry of Transportation
• First Aid, CPR & Epipen paid training
