We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team at VSS International, Inc. in West Sacramento, California. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and experience in the construction industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree in accounting or finance - CPA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing an accounting team
- Experience managing month-end process
- Balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Strong customer service skills with good writing and communication skills
- Demonstrated success in self-starting, upbeat, demanding/opportunistic environments
- Prior experience as an assistant or controller (highly desired)
- Vista Viewpoint (ERP) knowledge is preferred
- Advanced excel skills, and ability to create SQL pivot tables
