Semester Underwriting Intern

Berkley Specialty Excess is a wholesale-dedicated excess and surplus lines commercial insurance carrier. We are seeking a Semester Underwriting Intern to train with key team members and learn the process of underwriting and servicing of renewal accounts.

Requirements

• Interest in enhancing classroom learning through practical career-related work experience
• Career Interest in Underwriting/Excess and Surplus Lines
• Ability to assess priorities and manage deadlines effectively
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
