Field Service Superintendent Engineer 4-stroke

Wärtsilä is looking for a Field Service Superintendent Engineer 4-stroke to lead and develop the Field Service Team. The ideal candidate will have significant technical experience in reciprocating engine repair and overhaul, and a passion for developing 4-stroke knowledge. The role involves leading and managing a team, performing overhauls and repairs on 4-stroke engines, and interacting with customers.

Requirements

• Significant technical experience in reciprocating engine repair and overhaul
• Technical education or qualifications
• Proven experience in installation, operation, and maintenance of turbochargers, pumps, heat exchangers, fuel systems, lubrication systems, cooling systems
• Excellent communication skills in languages needed to support the team
• Good negotiating skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Team player mindset
