Service Engineer, Propulsion

Wärtsilä is seeking a Service Engineer to join their marine power team. This permanent role is focused on service delivery, including mechanical maintenance and overhauling of FPP, CPP, Gearbox, Transverse thruster, and Azimuth thruster systems, as well as conducting warranty and commissioning work on new projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in engine/propulsion systems and background in electric/automation schematics.

Requirements

• Mechanical maintenance and overhauling skill
• Ability to understand electrical and automation schematics and documentation
• Good command of written and verbal English
• Diploma/BSc in Mechanical, Marine, Electric & Electronic Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering
• Proficiency in control system specification and design
