Superintendent Service Engineer

Wärtsilä is a world leader in marine technology and leading the industry's transformation towards a decarbonised and sustainable future. We are looking for a qualified professional to lead engine maintenance work onboard vessels as a Superintendent Service Engineer.

Requirements

• Relevant engineering education or technical background
• Proven Mechanical Engineer experience in field service on Wärtsilä Diesel Engines or similar Medium bore applications as a Lead Man
• Mechanical technical experience on Wärtsilä Power Plants or similar applications as a Lead Man
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Technical proficiency and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proficient in English and native or advanced level of Hungarian
• Willingness to travel worldwide approximately 80% of the time
