Washington County Mental Health Services

Washington County Mental Health Services is seeking a Behavioral Interventionist (BBI) to provide education and support to children and youth with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges in their school and community. BIs will implement intervention strategies and work collaboratively with mental health and educational providers to improve emotional regulation, social skills, and connection. This is a full-time, part-time position with a focus on inclusive, compassionate care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to engage with young children positively
• Safety and composure in challenging situations
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
• Communication and collaboration skills with parents, staff, and WCMHS staff
• Valid driver’s license and safe vehicle
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate restraint techniques
• Commitment to working a full-time schedule with regular attendance
