Patient Accounting Representative F/T

This Full-Time Patient Accounting Representative position at Washington Hospital involves reviewing and verifying patient financial information, ensuring proper reimbursement for services, and managing accounts to ensure timely payments and resolutions. Requirements

• High School Graduate
• Minimum one year experience in insurance billing and followup
• Knowledge of ICD-10 terminology and CPT4 Procedure Coding
• Knowledge of State Government regulations with regards to Medi-cal eligibility and application process preferred
• Cash and adjustment posting background preferred with regards to quality control of payments and transactions to financial system
• Typing 25 WPM. Knowledge of 10 key preferred
• Basic medical terminology
• Experience with electronic billing and follow up system as well as personal computer experience
