Water.org is seeking a Partnership Specialist to drive strategic partnerships and operational excellence in India, with a primary focus on banking relationships and capital management collaborations. This role supports business objectives through research, analysis, and account administration—helping Water.org strengthen its impact and expand access to safe water and sanitation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Three or more years of experience working with financial products and services in at least one of the following areas: retail, wholesale, and micro finance, micro, small and medium enterprises, and/or water & sanitation infrastructure finance/projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 software and related applications.
- Proficient (written and verbal) in English.
- Experience in banking, capital management, impact investing or financial institution partnerships.
- Experience in WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) programs
- Experience of working with Microfinance institutions in treasury/sales teams/partnerships and alliances,financial inclusion OR experience of working with Banks in MFI/NBFC lending teams with good knowledge of regarding microfinance industry in India
- Development sector experience (NGOs, social impact organizations) OR experience of working with impact consulting firms
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.
