Quality Engineer

Wayland Additive is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team. The role involves supporting the development of processes, ensuring problems are resolved effectively, and improving activities. The ideal candidate has a manufacturing background, technical qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements

• Experienced Quality Engineer with a manufacturing background.
• Technical qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good understanding of ISO 9001, risk based thinking and the process approach.
• Qualified experienced internal auditor.
• Logical thinker able to gather, validate and interrogate data to evaluate process performance.
• Demonstrable experience of the application of quality tools and problem-solving techniques.
• Good working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Willingness to travel as needed for visits to suppliers and customers.
