Senior Administrator to the Northern Area Superintendent

Collaborates with schools in the implementation of district initiatives aligned with Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) Board goals and strategic focus areas. Serves as a liaison and support for schools in strategic work targeted to improve and raise student achievement while assisting with the development, implementation, and monitoring of School Improvement Plans and ongoing Continuous Improvement processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
• Five years K-12 teaching experience
• Leadership experience in facilitating the school improvement plan (SIP)
• Experience designing and delivering professional development
• Must hold or be eligible for a North Carolina professional educator’s license with licensure in a teaching area
• Must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license according to the State of North Carolina requirements
