Project Engineer role at Future Generation Joint Venture, responsible for technical matters including construction verification works, scheduling, monitoring, planning, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. Located in Cooma, Australia.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or mining engineering
- White Card
- Driver’s License
- Minimum 5-years’ experience working in the Civil Construction industry on large scale construction projects
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Competence in interpreting and explaining technical schedules and documentation
- Good contract comprehension
- Demonstrated experience in planning and reporting against cost and time
- Strong understanding of programme management, deadlines, and budget controls
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully and autonomously within a fast-paced project environment and deliver on deadlines
- Strong attitude and awareness of safety and focus and commitment to a zero-harm environment
- Proven experience in successfully delivering large work packages with Tier 1 construction contractors
- Prior experience in bulk earthwork, surface drill and blast, large scale FRP packages, ground support and stabilisation works
