Director IT

Week's Client is seeking a Director IT to lead application development, modernization, and delivery for a Clinical domain within a US Healthcare Payer. This leadership role requires a visionary technology leader with experience in Utilization Management, Care Management, and Provider Collaboration. The Director will collaborate with US counterparts and enterprise architecture to drive innovation and achieve strategic alignment.

Requirements

• 15+ years of IT experience, including extensive delivery leadership in the US Healthcare Payer industry.
• Deep domain knowledge in Clinical operations – including Utilization Management and Care Management.
• Strong experience managing application development and modernization programs.
• Proven expertise in Agile methodologies, demand and capacity planning, and vendor management.
• Sound understanding of technologies like Mainframe, Java, APIs, and PEGA.
• Familiarity with data exchange standards (HL7, CCD, FHIR, X12) and healthcare interoperability concepts.
