Director IT Provider

This role is for a Director – IT Provider, leading application development projects within the Payor–Provider ecosystem. The position requires a blend of technical acumen, strategic leadership, and deep domain expertise in the US Healthcare Payer industry. The Director will oversee a cross-functional team and ensure strategic alignment, efficient resource utilization, and high-quality delivery outcomes.

Requirements

• 15–18 years of IT experience, with at least 10 years in the US Healthcare Payer industry.
• Strong domain expertise in Provider functions – Credentialing, Contracting, Directories, and Provider Data Management.
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional application development teams.
• Demonstrated success in project delivery, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement.
• Hands-on experience with technology stacks such as Mainframe, Java, and APIs.
• Strong vendor management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills within a matrixed organization.
