Director IT Provider

This Director – IT (Provider Domain) role is for a Weekday's client, focusing on application development within the Payor–Provider ecosystem within the US Healthcare Payer industry. The role requires strong technical acumen, strategic leadership, and domain expertise in credentialing, contracting, and data management. The Director will lead a team and oversee delivery of IT projects, fostering innovation and performance excellence.

Requirements

• 15–18 years of IT experience, with at least 10 years in the US Healthcare Payer industry.
• Strong domain expertise in Provider functions: Credentialing, Contracting, Directories, and Provider Data Management.
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional application development teams.
• Demonstrated success in project delivery, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement.
• Hands-on experience with technology stacks such as Mainframe, Java, and APIs.
• Strong vendor management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
