Job Description
Weekday is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize their data infrastructure for their Customer Data Platform. The role involves hands-on work with Snowflake, using ETL/ELT tools and building scalable data solutions. It requires collaboration with DevOps and Platform Engineering teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java
- Expert-level SQL proficiency with a focus on query optimization
- Proven and deep experience with Snowflake or similar modern cloud data warehouses
- Solid track record of building and orchestrating data pipelines
- Hands-on experience with Airflow, dbt, or equivalent tools
- Experience with Apache Spark or other big data technologies
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD workflows
- Familiarity with analytics and customer data platforms
