Welevel is an innovative game studio based in Munich, developing a AAA survival game with deep city-building mechanics. We're looking for an Environment Artist to craft natural landscapes and biomes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Environmental Artist in game development
- Deep expertise in Unreal Engine and procedural workflows
- Strong understanding of world-building techniques, landscape generation, and instancing methods
- Experience developing tools and pipelines for terrain, foliage, settlements, and asset scattering
- Solid programming/scripting skills in C++, or HLSL
- Familiarity with shader development and performance optimization for large environments
- Strong artistic sense and ability to balance procedural generation with creative direction
- Ability to debug and optimize complex pipelines
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
