They are seeking a Senior Level Artist to design memorable locations within a procedural pipeline, balancing artistic vision with system-driven world generation. The role involves creating engaging points of interest, collaborating with tech and design teams, and ensuring optimal performance within an open-world environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in game industry level/environment art, preferably in open-world or survival games.
- Strong understanding of procedural generation workflows and tools (e.g., Houdini, Unreal Engine procedural systems).
- Expertise in level design principles, composition, and environmental storytelling.
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5, including lighting, and material setup.
- Ability to balance handcrafted design with procedural logic to ensure a natural and engaging world.
- Experience working with modular assets and procedural placement techniques.
- Knowledge of optimization techniques, including LODs, asset streaming, and performance debugging.
- Strong collaboration skills, working closely with game designers, technical artists, and engineers.
- Onsite position (EU work authorization required).
