Job Description
Welltower is looking for a Counsel, Healthcare Transactions & Regulatory Data to advise on healthcare regulatory matters, manage data and analytics program, and lead transactions. The ideal candidate has a strong healthcare legal background, experience with M&A transactions, and licensure and change of ownership activities.
Requirements
- Advise on legal and regulatory issues arising in connection with corporate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, operator transitions and facility closures
- Lead or support the preparation and submission of licensure, CHOW, and other required filings with Federal and State agencies
- Collaborate with deal teams to evaluate and negotiate regulatory terms and conditions of healthcare transactions
- Create and oversee the process for collecting, organizing, documenting, and storing all health care regulatory compliance data
- Partner with the Legal and Business Insights teams to ensure careful and accurate tracking of regulatory data and business insights data
