Job Description
Westborough Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a dynamic Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their expanding hospital. This role involves assessing and treating adult and child patients, providing psychiatric evaluations, providing consultation, and participating in treatment planning. The psychiatrist collaborates with other clinicians and staffing. The position involves creating and modifying interdisciplinary clinical teams and integrating with clinical management and staff.
Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing required.
- Completion of an accredited educational program for nurse practitioners required, with specialization in child or adult mental health.
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with authorization by the Board of Registration in Nursing to practice in an expanded role.
- Registered with the ANCC or other accrediting organization for Nurse Practitioners with certification in child or adult mental health.
- Current BLS Certification.
