Job Description
The Senior Accountant position is responsible for assisting with the accounting and financial reporting of the Company, ensuring compliance with SOX and applicable state and federal banking regulations. The role involves working closely with the Senior Financial Reporting Manager and Director to complete the month-end, quarter-end and annual close process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business
- Five+ years accounting experience with progressively increased responsibility
- Minimum of two (2) years public accounting experience
- CPA license (or CPA path) preferred
- Thorough understanding of GAAP
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional analytical and organization skills
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Access
