Job Description
The Social Services Director will supervise the team engaged in providing intensive case management assistance to men in a homeless shelter, overseeing the day-to-day operation of the social services department and working collaboratively with other departments.
Requirements
- MSW or other Human Services degree
- 3 years of relevant experience and supervisory experience
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable
- Ability to work some evenings and occasional weekends as needed
- Excellent writing ability
- Strong assessment, direct practice, counseling, supervision, community outreach, group leadership and program development experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and database management skills
