Job Description
The Residential Aide assists with client basic needs, working in conjunction with the social services team to monitor and provide appropriate basic services in a homeless shelter. The individual will complete intakes for new clients, serve meals and snacks, and perform regular area inspections to ensure shelter rules are adhered to.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-year experience dealing with homeless or special needs population
- Food Handlers Certification
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of DHS requirements and protocols
