Volunteer (Hospice)

Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is looking for compassionate individuals to join our Westminster Canterbury At-Home (WCAH) Hospice Volunteer Team. As a Hospice Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in bringing comfort, companionship, and care to patients and their families during one of life’s most meaningful journeys.

Requirements

• Strong verbal communication skills, especially with older adults
• Reliable transportation
• A supportive, caring attitude toward the hospice philosophy
• Comfort discussing personal spirituality and end-of-life topics
• Willingness to complete a background check
