Engineering Manager, Core Backend Services

Join Whatnot as a senior leader in our Infrastructure team to oversee the growth and evolution of our platform. You will lead and mentor a team of highly skilled engineers, develop strategic roadmaps for platform engineering, and ensure scalability and developer velocity.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in platform engineering or infrastructure engineering leadership roles
• At least 5 years of experience managing teams
• Strong experience with software engineering best practices
• Proven experience in guiding teams to deliver complex, large-scale systems
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills
• Strong technical background
