Join Whatnot as an Engineering Manager, Platform Engineering, and play a pivotal role in the growth and evolution of the company's platform. As a senior leader, you will oversee the Platform Engineering team, building scalable, reliable, and performant systems to support millions of users. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of highly skilled engineers, developing strategic roadmaps, and driving best practices in software engineering.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in platform engineering or infrastructure engineering leadership roles
- Experience in building and scaling backend systems, real-time services, and storage infrastructure
- Strong experience with software engineering best practices
- Proven experience in guiding teams to deliver complex, large-scale systems
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Strong technical background
