Job Description
The cook/baker ensures the dietary needs of patients, employees, and customers are met on a daily basis. The position requires experience working in a hospital setting and a recognized food preparation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of food preparation and handling.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a hospital setting
- Previous experience in a dietary/food service setting
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Successful completion of a recognized food preparation program
- Food Handler's Certificate
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets
- Knowledge and/or certification in WHMIS
