Job Description
The Psychologist 3 - Forensic Program - SMHC is a position based at Selkirk Mental Health Centre, providing assessment and treatment for patients found Not Criminally Responsible on account of mental disorder. The position offers a competitive salary, benefits, and incentives, including an annual forensic specialist top-up.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from a CPA or APA-accredited clinical psychology training program, and completion of a CPA or APA accredited internship/residency.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Psychologist (C.Psych.) with the Psychological Association of Manitoba with forensic competency.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and inter-professional teamwork skills.
