Job Description
Under the general direction of the Manager Health Services, the incumbent is responsible for assisting in the provision of effective, efficient secretarial support in the Forensic Services setting.
Requirements
- typing a variety of correspondence
- assessment transcription
- telephone/reception duties
- taking and relaying messages
- handling emergency calls and directing individuals to appropriate personnel
- greeting and directing patients/staff
- preparing statements for outside agencies and ordering charts for weekly clinics and preparing related billing
