Job Description
The Democratic Party of Wisconsin is seeking a Deputy Voter Protection Director to oversee the Voter Protection Assistance Hotline, Ballot Cure, and Voter Education programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in political organizing, voter protection, or campaign operations, and strong operational skills. The role involves managing staff and volunteers, building relationships with election officials, and communicating with voters.
Requirements
- Experience in political organizing, voter protection, or campaign operations
- Experience managing staff and volunteers to quantitative goals
- Ability to read, analyze, and explain complex election laws and regulations
- Strong operational skills (Excel, VAN/LBJ, Boiler Room software)
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree (preferred)
- Knowledge of Wisconsin election law (preferred)
- Experience running a Hotline, Ballot Cure, and/or Voter Education program (preferred)
