Wood is seeking a Senior Technical Safety Engineer to join their team in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The role involves designing and advancing projects in fields like gas and flare systems, and is part of an Onshore Brownfield project working with international clients, potentially including trips to Iraq. Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of Technical Safety & Loss Prevention engineering methodologies.
- Experience in Hazard Area Classification, Safety layout Assessment, Emergency escape route assessment.
- Experience in Fire engineering activities like Fire Zone determination and Firewater demand calculations.
- Experience in conducting F&G mapping.
- Co-ordinating with other disciplines during design development.
- Producing specifications, data sheets, schedules, study reports, and design calculations.
