Key responsibilities include program design, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, as well as accountability to children and communities, and research and learning.
Requirements
- BA Degree in international development, international relations, public health, nutrition, statistics, community development, or other relevant disciplines
- Minimum one to two years of experience in working in a relief or development NGO with a focus on MEAL processes
- Experience in the design and implementation of MEAL systems, including qualitative and quantitative approaches to baselines, monitoring, and evaluations
- Good understanding of Accountability to communities
- Good working knowledge of statistical packages (Excel, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of ODK database
- Expert data handling skills (classification, categorization, tabulation, etc.) and demonstrates diligence in data management
- Good knowledge of information presentation techniques (graphing, charting, tabling, etc.) and interpreting them
- Good contextual knowledge of the local community and social/cultural constraints, realities, and organizational relationships
- Ability to understand, explain, and contextualize MEAL tools
- Ability to build positive relationships in a cross-cultural environment
- Preferred working knowledge of advanced statistical packages (SPSS, etc.)
