WSP is seeking a Building Technology Systems - Lead Consultant to join their Hawaii, Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Riverside, or San Diego office. The role involves participating in projects with the Building Technology Systems Team and contributing to the growth of the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in structured cabling, audio visual security, and code required building technology systems, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
Requirements
- Seven to ten years' experience actively designing high-end building technology systems for the AEC consulting and engineering industry
- U.S. Security clearance or the ability to obtain a U.S. Security clearance is required
- RCDD Industry certification is preferred
- Other industry certifications (ASIS CPP, AVIXA (InfoComm) CTS/-D, Cisco CCNA, etc.) is a plus although not required
- Design experience related to Audiovisual, DAS and/or Data Network/Wi-Fi/Telephony is a plus but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on the ability to organize and present design information to clients
- Revit experience desired
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
- Comfortable working directly with clients including federal and public clients, architects and building owners
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
